############################################## "Weather Permitting IV - 2001 Catches" is now available. ======================================
This VHS video is a full 2 hours all from the 2001 Season. This years video includes several events using my new wide angle lens on a 2nd Sony Digital - 8 Camcorder.
You will see the first Tornadic Supercell on April 21. This was the day Hoisington, KS was hit by the F4. I captured a brief Tornado near Hanston, KS. The wide angle shot of this Supercell is a real "jaw dropper"!
July 25 near Tuthill SD features one of the strongest storms EVER shown on the 88D Radar in the Rapid City, SD NWS County Warning Area. You will see inflow winds of near 60 MPH!
July 28 near Valentine , NE --This is an after dark event that is likely a large lightning lit Tornado. After you see the video let me know what you think. NWS North Platte, NE did report good rotation with the Supercell.
This year I had a very enjoyable experience as a Driver/Guide for Tempest Tours . On June 13 we captured the F4 Tornado near Seward, NE. Damage shots of the farm that was swept off the foundation are also included.
July 17 features 2 large Tornadoes near Burwell, NE. The beautiful white Tornado ranks among the most impressive I have ever seen. This storm tied for 1st place with the Seward F4 as my most impressive Tornado capture of the year.
UPDATE - Sept. 29, 2001 - I just finished re-making the Master Tape for this video to include the Sept. 22, Saronville, NE Tornado. Now there are 3 events that tie for most impressive Tornadic event from my 2001 Season on this video!!
Several additional Tornadoes and Supercells are included in the video.
The $24.00 price includes Shipping and a Free Gift.
